Pre-owned CISCO 6509 Multilayer Switch

(A+ Certified)
PN#WS-C6509-1300AC=      REQUEST QUOTE

The Catalyst 6000 Family delivers exceptional scalability and price/performance, supporting a wide range of interface densities, performance, and high-availability options. Its application intelligence and quality-of-service mechanisms enable customers to effectively leverage their network for increased mission-critical applications, such as multicast and ERP, without sacrificing network performance. Coupled with the extensive network services of Cisco IOS, the Catalyst 6000 Family delivers powerful management, user mobility, security, high-availability, and multimedia support required for today`s networks.

The nine-slot Catalyst 6509-NEB switch has vertically-oriented slots but the backplane architecture and functionality is identical to the Catalyst 6509 switch.

The Catalyst 6000 series consists of the six-slot Catalyst 6006 switch and the nine-slot Catalyst 6009 switch. The Catalyst 6500 series consists of the six-slot Catalyst 6506 switch, nine-slot Catalyst 6509 switch and the nine-slot Catalyst 6509-NEB switch.

These high-performance, modular, frame-based switches support high-density Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet in both campus-backbone and server-aggregation environments. The Catalyst 6006 and the Catalyst 6009 switches have a 32-Gbps switching capacity, while the Catalyst 6506, Catalyst 6509, and Catalyst 6509-NEB switches can support a backplane architecture that scales from 32 Gbps to 256 Gbps.

All platforms share the same supervisor engines, switching modules, and software, and support redundant configurations of supervisor engines, power supplies, and port interfaces.

  • Supports supervisor engine with two gigabit interface uplinks
  • Supports the MSFC and PFC
  • Supports optional redundant supervisor engine with two Gigabit Ethernet uplink ports (uplink ports are fully functional on redundant supervisor engine in standby mode)
  • Supports up to eight additional switching modules (Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, and ATM)
  • Supports the Multilayer Switch Module
  • All modules are hot-swappable
  • Supports redundant, hot-swappable AC-input or DC-input power supplies
  • Fan assembly is hot-swappable
  • Backplane-mounted clock modules are redundant
  • Supports vertically aligned modules with slot numbering from right to left

Pre-owned CISCO 7206VXR/300 Router

(A+ Certified)
PN# Cisco7206VXR/300     REQUEST QUOTE

The Cisco 7206 supports multiprotocol, multimedia routing and bridging over a wide variety of LAN and WAN interface types. The Cisco 7206 is part of the Cisco 7200 series routers, which consists of the 2-slot Cisco 7202, 4-slot Cisco 7204 and Cisco 7204VXR, and 6-slot Cisco 7206 and Cisco 7206VXR.

Network interfaces reside on port adapters that provide the connection between the router's three Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) buses and external networks. The Cisco 7206 has six slots (slot 1 through slot 6) for the port adapters, one slot for an Input/Output (I/O) controller, and one slot for a network processing engine. You can place the port adapters in any of the six available slots.

There are bays for up to two AC-input or DC-input power supplies. The Cisco 7206 will operate with one power supply. While a second power supply is not required, it allows load sharing and increased system availability.

  • Offers up to 25-mile range
  • Offers up to 11 Mbps data rate
  • Links buildings into a single LAN
  • Requires no license

The initial hardware investment can be quickly paid for with the money saved on leased-line service. Wireless bridges connect discrete sites into a single LAN, even when they're separated by obstacles such as freeways, railroads, and bodies of water that are practically insurmountable for copper and fiber-optic cable.
