Sales Account Manager - Silicon Valley (Home Officed)

Overview

Digital Warehouse USA, Inc. (www.digitalwarehouse.com), a leading provider of solutions that reduce the cost of network infrastructure, is seeking a motivated, sales-focused individual to grow our business in the Silicon Valley and to be based there. As the driving force behind our growth, the Account Manager will be responsible for building consultative and repeat relationships with our business customers in that area.

We provide our account managers with paid training program that will provide the tools necessary to be well versed in selling our solutions and become experts in salesmanship and service.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing sales activities to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives such as account management plans, monthly forecast, and coordinating resources to ensure efficient and stable sales.
  • Prospecting via cold calling and re-activating previous business to identify new business opportunities in order to build a substantial pipeline that will result in the achievement of assigned revenue goals.
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships with key decision makers and influencers to obtain new sales, maximize product/services satisfaction and ensure proper post-sales support is provided.
  • Having the ability to penetrate an account and leverage relationships to grow our business throughout the organization and drive customer satisfaction into the entire account.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years successful direct sales in network infrastructure solutions from Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel, Nortel, Foundry, Extreme or others
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding assigned sales quotas and productivity targets
  • Passion, energy and commitment to consistently produce sales
  • Ability to mine leads, cold call and build relationships - a true "hunter" mentality
  • Strong selling skills and the ability to close business over the phone
  • Excellent knowledge of Cisco and other networking products in order to analyze and respond to the technical needs of our customers
  • Must be a self-starter, and have a great sense of urgency
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and efficiently
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Outstanding computer, inter-personal, and telephone skills
  • B.S. in computer science, telecommunications, IT, business or related fields

This position offers a highly competitive base plus commission on all purchases, quarterly bonus for exceeding purchasing quota as well company paid travel and business entertainment expenses.
