Access Point 1000 meets the most demanding customer
requirements in a single highly integrated, high
availability platform that is easily deployed
and managed as part of a carrier managed service
or an enterprise owned and operated network. This
high-end access router employs an advanced system
architecture that achieves high-speed packet forwarding
while applying advanced services at very fine
granularity. With data forwarding rates of up
to 450 Mbps and 3DES encrypted traffic forwarding
rates of up to 155 Mbps, Access Point 1000 sets
new price and performance standards for multiservice
IP access routers.

Point 1000 was recently awarded the "BCR Best
In Test" by Business Communications Review. In
the November article entitled, "Making VPNs Work,"
Access Point 1000 surpassed the other products
tested with its high performance and other advanced
features. With respect to its performance, the
editors characterized this product as a "powerful
beast." It also earned the top spot for advanced
features, such as integrated routing, QoS, and
flexible LAN/WAN configurations.

An Integrated Solution from Avaya
The Cajun M770 modules can be combined with Avaya’s
other switching product families for a custom-tailored
network solution. Backbone connections (Fast Ethernet,
Gigabit Ethernet or ATM), including standard VLAN
and priority trunking, are designed for connecting
all Avaya switching families, the Cajun M770,
Cajun P110 and Cajun M400.
PortMaster
3 Access Concentrator combines K56flex modems,
communications server, and router into a single
space-saving unit. It has six
rear-panel expansion slots supporting up to ten
modems per slot, for a maximum configuration of
60 modems per chassis. Up to two T1/E1/CT1/CE1
interfaces support analog, ISDN, BRI, ISDN, PRI,
Frame Relay, and Leased Line services, providing
the most complete remote access solution for ISP
and enterprise connectivity. Multiple PortMaster
3s are designed to work together as a single "virtual"
chassis to provide all dial-up and dedicated services.
